Yup, as I thought was gonna happen, that second group of storms fell apart. Severe weather threat is over until Friday. Possible tornado touchdown about 30 miles east of here. Also a lot of damage 20 miles south of Fort Knox KY (where I was stationed for a year). Went to Etown with the guys in my unit A LOT while I was there. We either went there or Louisville on almost a weekly basis.

Hi all - well I got through my interview and I think I did well. Now I'm just sitting down at my computer to write thank-you letters. I like this place better than the other place so I don't know what to tell the other guy that offered me the job. I haven't got this one yet and they might take up to another week to make a decision. They also have a wedding benefit - after 3 month employees who get married receive $1000! Maybe that will convince my fiance to marry me - I'll even split the dough 50/50! They also have a car benefit - after 6 months of employment employees who lease or purchase a gas efficient car (after employment) are eligible to receive up to $150 per month towards their car payment. I don't think a Challenger RT qualifies though

So ready for March Madness. We're only 11 days from Selection Sunday! Shame I'll have to work the Friday night of the first round.
It's official. I'll be going to Fort Knox in Mid-April for BNCOC (I think they call it ALC now or something like that). The course will take about 2 weeks. I still have a lot of friends in the Louisville area so it'll be a good chance to see them. And it's close enough that I won't have any problem letting them drive my POV there. If it had been at Fort Lee it's at that distance that they may have made me fly although I may have been able to convince them to let me drive. But Knox works well for me since that's my old stomping grounds and I still have friends there. I'll try to get my best friend from HS to meet me in Etown on a Friday or Saturday evening (He lives 45 minutes south of Etown and Knox is 20 minutes north) as well.
