Good morning to one and all! These pictures are from the heads all finished and ready to be installed.
Heads powder coated Mirror Black(3 coats), Glyptal Red enamel(for better oil drainage), roller rockers, 105 springs, modified steel retainers, viton seals and brand spanking new valves.
Over head view! The red stuff is called Glyptal red enamel and it's used for better oil drainage. 2 coats and baked @125* for 2 hours.
The Mirror Black looks pretty good. So good that I'm going to do my rim, although not the whole rim, only the rough aluminum areas. The face will be polished and then the whole rim will be cleared (2 coats) with everclear.
The block will be next! Pics coming soon....

Rick if you keep enjoying your retirement like you are you're never gonna want to go back to work. Yes I'm jealous. I'm glad you are having fun. I need to get on the stick and plan for my own retirement. I'm getting a late start. I guess that happens when you live week to week and there isn't anything left. Now I have extra and to to curb my spending habits and pay down bills like my car payment and mortgage, as well as a savings and investment plan.

Waiting on my uncle to get here to install his spoiler. Was suppose to be easy to install with a mounting layout thing. No such luck. Having to make my own. Sure don't want to screw it up and have a bunch of holes. Stuff that came with it was a joke. Wish me luck! Where's Mike when you need his help? I did my Mom's 07 Impala couple years back it it had a layout, made it very easy, so I am trying to copy that method. I will post a completed pic.

Lookin' good, Wil! You're a lucky dog to have your own powdercoating equipment.
