Lou, I know when I had my 72 Chevelle I wanted to take it to the body shop to get the car painted, and they wanted me to have it done as "piece work" at least that is what they called it, and basically, their idea was to let the car sit outside of their shop and whenever they had spare time they would pull in my car and do some work and then pull it back outside again until the next time they had some down time and could bring it back in again. I immediately thought this was a bad idea, as all I could see was the work that they did do for the car would get damaged sitting outside waiting until the next time. Apparently they do get some people to agree to this way of doing it, but I just thought long term it would not be a good process for either the car or my wallet, plus I wanted to drive my car instead of driving by it sitting outside in the elements

There is a monte for sale about an hour away from me that I believe is in the same scenario as the car you have shown in your reply, they are advertising it certified for $4000.00 but just driving by I can see the rear quarters are rotted and the paint is bubbling, and that is at 50 mph, I would be scared to take a closer inspection on the car for that kind of money

I just returned from Miami & Space ask me to log on to wish everyone a Happy New Year. It was nice to see posts & concerns about my best friend 'space (Thanks...very much)
He is still recovering from his ankle surgery & has another operation planned for next week.
There were complications with the last operation. They have him tied down & confined to his hospital bed +
he is on heavy meds. (He says funny stuff or more funny stuff on meds) LOL
BeachBum Tommy & I came back to take care of some business + go to a party 2nite.
His grandpa & Ms Dr Space are with 'space. We will be going back down Friday (?)
'Space won't be surfing, skateboarding or running the beach for a long time.. His smashed ankle is worse
then I thought it was : (
I will keep all updated when I get more news.

good evening to all, i am proud to say that my 2nd son Noah Chase Owens have came into this world last night at 9.55 last night. i'll be spending new years morning in here and will be leaving later on that day, will be home with the family on my birthday, i was hoping he will be a new years baby but i see that in my family we always miss the day haha i hope everyone has a safe and productive day, will post a pic when i get settled in at home tomorrow
