Good morning on this last day of 2014. Man, time flies faster each year; I still remember 2005 like it was yesterday and now here we are ten years later. I'm off work til the 5th, though I'm doing some measuring and inspections in the field on Friday.
Today also marks a new era at The University of Michigan as Jim Harbaugh was named Michigan Football head coach yesterday. Great for Michigan, the B1G and college football.

Good morning everybody!
It's the last dance of 2014. Last chance for romance. (as I say in my best DJ voice)
Gotta work midnight shift tonight. (11:30pm to 8:00 am) Working night shift at a casino on new year's eve. So I'm basically being paid to attend a new year's eve party. I just can't drink.

Good morning everyone, I hope you all have a great end of the year evening this evening. Again as stated above "Please don't drink and drive" I see way too many people leaving the bars when my band plays and they get behind the wheel and I know they have been drinking as I have seen them drink all night long while we are playing. You would think in today's day and age that they would call a cab or designate a driver, but sadly this doesn't always happen. I know when my band plays I am always the designated driver, as I don't drink too often (I had 2 rye and cokes this year) so I know the guys are safe and it lets them not have to worry about drinking too much, well unless it effects their playing then we usually have a chat about that the next day lol
I hope everyone enjoys their day

Hey everyone. I'm reposting the reply I just made in Monday's blog, here in today's blog. To keep the conversation going in the correct day's blog.
Judging by the fact the tires are going flat, and the cars surrounding it, that Monte looks like it's been sitting there for a while. It's looking like one of those "long term project" cars that sits in a shop's parking lot forever, and never gets done. Because the shop never has time to get to it.
I knew a guy who had a similar situation with his car. His car sat behind the building for almost a year before the owner finally just asked for his car back. By the time he got it home off the tow truck, rodents had destroyed his wire harness and all the rubber rotted out (hoses, belts, tires). Plus the rodents got into the interior of the car and destroyed the interior. The car sat in his driveway for another few months before he reluctantly decided that the car now needed a complete restoration. And would cost more money than he could afford. And more than the car was worth when you include labor for the stuff he couldn't do on his own. Plus storage fees to store the car somewhere inside, since he didn't have a garage.
He sold the car as is, and took a huge loss.
