Good morning guys. Today went much more smoothly.
Brent, thanks for the kind words. I just hope that someone who reads it realizes that not all is lost in those dark places. And anyone that needs to talk about stuff like that here on MCF is more than welcome to PM me.
Hope y'all have a good one.

Morning guys.
The majority if not all of the flood waters in Metro Detroit have receded, most taking all day yesterday, and the cleanup has begun. It's still a mess and a lot of roads/freeways are still closed. Some of the areas have been structurally compromised so further inspection by the Department of Transportation is needed before the roads can be opened again.
More pictures from yesterday - from The Detroit News.

Morning everyone, raining here today, but nothing like what happened in Detroit and area, those pics look really bad, I hope everyone made it through ok. Reminds me of my uncle that lives in Texas, he had a bmw z3 and went under an overpass and the car was completely sunk in the water, ended up writing the car off because of the water damage, not a good time for anyone that has to go through that.
Not sure what all is on the agenda today other than getting caught up lol, but that seems to be on the agenda every day.

Yeah they're definitely making progress, although some areas are still flooded believe it or not.
