Morning guys. Space, if the subject comes up again, I will again put out correct information on the subject like I have before, but any further debate will be by PM. I meant no disrespect to Devin, and if it was taken in that manner, I apologize. There's not a person here who i wouldn't share a beer or two with (or whatever drink they prefer) so I didn't mean to cause any conflict.

I hope everyone has a good day. Mine are long, but I think this new position is going to be easier on my body which is probably for the best. Still trying to get the army to fix my knee, but in the meantime I just deal with it like I have for the last 5 years. Everyone take care. I need sleep.

Yes, my nights/days have been long, but I'm happy 2 `be & have a job that pays decent with good Bennie's
I sure hope the Army takes care of your knee problems.
So many Vet's are not getting the care & treatment they need from the injuries they have received I sure hope our government starts to take care of all that have served 4-Sure.

Agreed. Most days it's just a ton on pain, some of the worse days I have difficulty walking but I still manage to push through. There are guys hurt a lot worse than I am, and none of us are getting taken care of. The worst part is the ones with PTSD who either get stigmatized by the system or just don't seek out help because they know that stigma is all they'll get from the system. As a result, on average, 22 current and former military successfully commit suicide per day. God knows how many more attempt it.

It breaks my heart. Those who are friends with me on Facebook know a huge chunk of my posts are to creat awareness for those invisible wounds. I was in some very dark places myself at one point, so I understand how it feels when it seems like there is no hope. It took some friends who cared enough to let me know they cared to bring me out of that. So I always let any vets know that my door is always open to anyone who needs to talk. I can't change everything by myself but maybe collectively the veteran community can make a difference to those we served beside.
