Hi all. Test drove a used 2011 Challenger RT tonight and I'm not thrilled with it. The interior felt cheap and generic. It also had horrible blind spots. So, I will be ordering a brand new 2013 Ford Mustang V6 in the next couple of days to replace my 05. Now I really have to sell my 05 cause the Ford dealer is giving me crap for my trade in.

evening all, busy night NHL playoffs started......

I came across this yesterday, any thoughts as what I should do, I doubt it can be fixed, but is it dangerous to drive? I have no clue how/when it happened, I noticed it while checking tire pressures...... I also posted a pic and question in the "is this tire salvageable" thread

Amy congrats, i'll be looking forward to seeing your 2013 mustang. What all options and such do you plan to get? Good luck selling the 05.

Chris, is it a deep gash? Maybe take it to a tire shop and ask if it can be repaired or not.

Amy, sounds great even though it's a mustang...j/k......

Keane, no its not very deep but I just don't know if it's dangerous...I also bought the Road Hazard with the tires from Tirerack and I doubt I even have 10k miles on them. I bet the tread is hardly even worn? I installed the wheels and tires last April, almost a year to the day is when I purchased!

Well not only does the new Mustang have true dual exhaust - it comes with an X-Pipe!!!! It also has a huge front sway bar. The interior is as cool as ever and very refined. I will be ordering it with the Mustang Club of America package. They do offer a performance package for $1400 more but I don't think it's necessary - plus it doesn't fit in my budget - I can always change the gear later. They also did away with the "drive by wire" throttle (like my 05 had) - it coasts for a long time and feels more like the way my Monte feels and thats a great thing. Oh and the turning radius is insane!

Sounds awesome (literally) What about the heated mirror package the projects the pony emblem on the ground that amazes the heck out of me.Was the comfort package. Same with their interior color package. If i was in the market for a brand new car i'd probably be all over the mustang. (new car = mustang, used car = monte carlo, please no one kill me:p)

Take it back to tire rack and let them replace it under the road hazard warrantee. Because it is in the sidewall it isn't repairable. Might be good for a spare.
