Good morning everyone. Picked up an early shift today. I start at 6 and I am running on like 4 and a half hours of sleep. I believe I will need lots of coffee today to stay a wake. Oh well at least this will give me 40 hours for the week. More money for me.

Mornin' folks!
Baby duck is doing great! He eats a lot now - seems like about his own weight everyday. And he growing, but doesn't look much different yet. He lives off a diet of kale, cornmeal and mealworms. It's funny how you get to know and understand his voice. He is virtually always making some kind of chirp or whistle - even in his sleep - and conveying emotion of excited, nervous, lonely & contentment.
I snapped this pic this morning, but I had just awoken him and he didn't wanna pose or play for the camera
My 5 year old daughter has still not stop being afraid of him. The thing is, Baby chases her, or anyone else that moves. And he is blazing fast. It may seem like he's attacking you, but he isn't going to do anything when he gets to you. He pecks a little, but it tickles. He tries to jump on and sit on my feet while I'm walking. A lot of attention need to be given to your steps while walking when he isn't in his brooding box because he will try to get underfoot.

He can be seen trying to stay awake in my palm in this week old video.
