I'm on a standby-on call shift I went in before midnight last eve and had a small unload & then helped clean the ships bay. I never know when to sleep or party

I work the afternoon/evening shift!
I already have info on the manager job i did not get a interview, i knew that was a long shot going in, they only pick 3 people to interview and I'm still low on the todem pole. The bright side is the president of our region saw my name on the list and asked my Manager curiously about me. So my name is out there which is great!
But that's why i applied for the other job, which is a office job with Fedex. Still a step up and moving in the right direction. My manager just told me today that, that job has my name on it, and he is going to chat with me after work one day next week to help me prepare for the intterview which is nice of him. Things are looking great

Did you get called in today too? or did you get to get out and party? haha

Long day at work but I got our computer at work back to as normal as it is going to get and got all of my data in the system so our books aren't off. Whew!!!
The boss knew I was so frustrated that this computer stuff had to be done that he bought me a new laser printer for the office and it will be here tomorrow!! Woo Hoo
Tommy- I am far from an IT person but I am the one who knows the most about computers in my company...LOL Only because I have had my computers screw up so many times...hahaha
Well, I am going to get some supper and get to bed.

It's great that you have someone in your corner that will recommend you for a better position Wish you the best of luck...Yes, staying positive and working hard has always paid off for me & others I know.

I got a call from my boss & we are meeting early tomorrow morning to talk about my next assignment. He's leaving me in suspense, but he said he thinks I going to like it... I did go in to work for a short period this early eve, but I'm off until tomorrow morning. Meeting with my lady friend later after she gets off work...Life is GOOD.
