Hey all... thanks spacerider for starting the blog this morning.
Been chasing down the exhaust leak from when I first adopted eleanor and I finally found it.
Changed the rear manifold gasket with a metallic fiber gasket and actually got worse, last night, my engine cooled off enough to stick my hand down in the bay and get the idle up and found that the rear manifold might be warped.
When I had the manifold off a couple of weeks ago, I couldn't find a crack upon inspection... bolts are tight and I tightened them in the correct pattern of inside toward outside. Still coming from the runner for cyl 2

Mornin guys. Home from work. Waiting on the oven to finish warming up so I can have some pizza. Dustin, glad you found the leak. Wish I had time to help out.

Sparky, just because you mentioned how your daughter doesn't need to see that pink car, she should see a friend of mine's Grand Prix. Galaxy Silver with pink accents on the interior, in the engine bay, and on some parts of the exterior. She did it tastefully though and I'm sure they'd be easy enough on a Monte as well .

Drew, I'm waiting to get headers to fix it... I have always upgraded when I have to replace something.
Also, there's a pink grand prix in lavergne. It was a mary kay car a long time ago and the current owner washes it daily (which is rare to see a base model grand prix THAT clean)

Yeah my friend's isn't all pink, it just has pink accents. It actually looks really good the way she did it.

I understand the headers. I'll be wanting headers myself in anticipation of a topswap. But that's gonna be a ways down the road.

Mornin' all. Happy Hump Day! The temp is currently 32° with 89% humidity. Factoring in the wind chill brings the temp down to 28°. Mike - are you just doing routine maintenance to your car or needing to repair/replace something? Hope everyone makes a good one of it today.
