Warning
I posted something to this effect last year but will do it again....
Take it easy in the construction zones. It is that time of year and we are all in a hurry it seems. That is somebodies mother, sister, brother, or father out there waving a flag or working in the zone. They deserve your respect, and it is not always the workers who are injured or killed. Often times it is the people in the car. Countless lives are lost each year in these zones, so when it says 45, do 45 not 75. The life you save could be yours.
Now I apologize for pushing this on you, but I have many friends out there working on the roads. We have already lost one this week where I work due to a freak accident at one of the plants, so be safe, and as Florida used to say
"ARRIVE ALIVE"

Good warning.
A nut in Raleigh was arrested a few years back for driving through a construction zone... as in swerved bteween the cones, ran within inches of workers going about 50 mph in his car.... and then swerved back into traffic. North Carolina law keeps officers on a worksite now because of this dip$hit.

I've seen State Police sitting in work zones here in Michigan on occasion too. Sometimes I feel 45 is too fast so I go even slower then that. I don't really care If I hold up a few people if it could possibly save someones life. You never know if a worker's paying attention or not.

Definitely a good warning.
I was doing some running around this afternoon and got onto US 20 here in town. Got to the construction zone, where the speed drops from 55 to 45 ... and I think I was about the only one slowing down. A bit shocking. Cops USUALLY patrol that area pretty well, but NONE were there today.
