Think we all suspected most of us had a stash of cherished photo's tucked away. Our members responded strongly with our highest participation rate yet for our Forums photo contest. Way to go everyone, nice job you ran this contests limited number of entries into the dirt, you filled up every available slot. This is going to make for some tough voting as about everyone has a horse in the race. We could potentially have 4 Monte's or more in the Saturday "Sudden Death" one day tie breaking event. I think drivernumber3 did a great job at stirring up a hornets nest of activity, now it's time to bring out the bug spray and shoo away all the photo's except for one, this may take some time though as while all the photo's are very nice, some of the submitted photo's are off the wall stand alone exceptional photographs. Alas there can only be one winner, but I think this topic could be used again and no one could complain. Nice call drivernumber3!!

Now here is where it gets tough. The forum has many members other than the ones who submitted contest pictures. Would you all please step up in a BIG way with the voting phase and help bombard the voting poll to help gather a greater number of votes than we may typically get? We will really need everyone's help on this voting poll. With the huge number of entries it is desirable that there be an ample number of voters helping with the selection process, so that we do not end up with 1 vote for 7 people and the others getting 2 votes each or some terrible combination. It will be sweet to see the low car still get 3,4 or 5 votes, and the top cars getting some crazy numbers, kind of help bring this contests energy to a crescendo we have not experienced before. So any and all members, please help your fellow members and cast a vote for your favorite car.

This theme is called "Run what you brung" We have asked the members to dig into their photo albums and post a picture of their car that they believe is in the handful of photos they have the very best of their Monte Carlo's. So keeping that in mind while you are considering whom to vote for. Which photo do you believe is over the top representing the Monte Carlo, who has the photo that makes you say I love that picture, I want that Monte Carlo for my own... This is your mission ladies and gentlemen, "Find us a winner".

All voting will end this Thursday the 11th of Dec. Should there be a tie with the voting, the nest day Saturday the 12th there will be a one day only "Sudden Death" tie breaker thread started and hopefully ended, lol, we have a lot of contestants, a double tie could be possible and we will see where it goes from there. So help your fellow forum members out and cast that vote! PLEASE...

Oh hell no, man that was quite the unseen finish, Tweeks Dale Sr. Intimidator Monte Carlo coming from the middle, edging his way through and pulling away from the pack for a decisive win! Very nice what a contest this one was. Coming in 2nd was Dale sr. drivernumber3 with a pretty fun, lighthearted creative photo. Congrats to everyone who submitted and helped with the voting process. We could not do this without you all. Thank so very much everyone for participating, you all rock! What was up with the Zippy car, that limp noodle never even made it out of Pit row.

Well now Chris, you our friend have earned your Monte Carlo a spot in the permanent photo contest archives. It's actually turning our pretty nice, quite an inventory of interesting Monte Carlo photo's building up. Additionally you will be receiving from the MCF a winners certificate via email that is suitable for printing and framing. Something sweet to put up on the wall of your cubby at work ad show off your Monte Carlo to your co-workers.

Okay Chris now it's your turn to scratch your head and put forth our next photo contests theme. Yep, you have that pressure now as our reigning contest champion. We need to have the new theme by tomorrow Sunday. Keep in mind some members have put away their Montes for the winter, but the that in no way should keep your themes restricted. It will just limit the number of possible entries. I mean winter is here, X-mas is here, might be time for some snow winter shots for the brave souls who still use their Monte's on a daily basis. LOL, and your in Arizona home of the Arizona Snow Man! Anyway it's your call, let us all know so we can gear up for the new contest this coming week.
