I really dig your display. Is that a carpet??? I've thought about buying some of that Race Deck stuff to do something similar for indoor shows or shows that park you on pavement. If I keep the car, that is...
Well Dane is Dane, he does have some powerful cringe worthy skits.

Actually the mat came off of Amazon, like $50 for a 9'x12' section, bought 2 sections. It is not the highest quality, recycled plastic, but it worked for this static display situation. Read on the AutoRama do's and don'ts how your cars presentation is part of the judges considerations. Some people win a "Best of show display" etc. So I pulled a quickie, Amazon Prime and had it in 2 days, lol.
Layed it out, used white duct tape on the perimeter and where the 2 mats butted up to one and another. I was the only one there with this mat, so it was not a redundant thing. I liked how the cars polished paint body reflected the checkered mat.

Here is a link:

You getting to that point about keeping your Monte eh? I can feel for you. There are so many more exciting platforms out there, while we sit on our hands and live the Monte Carlo dream that most no one else really cares about. Tough gig we are playing.

Mel, thanks my man! I do remember a while back you posting pics of your award winning Monte being entered in some huge events. You actually have a very trick Monte Carlo. Don't know if many somewhat new and new members even know what your Monte is all about. You should do a new post about your Monte and all of the one of a kind modifications you have done to it. You have one of the cleanest rides on the forum. Actually would hate to go up against you at a show, your Monte is ALL that.

I have always admired your color scheme, cleanliness, the details and what had to be many many hours making your Monte what it is. Great presentation Mel, great curb appeal...

Dane Cook was hilarious in the (Movie Employee of the Month).
After that I was a fan for sure, caught his shows on Cable when I was traveling.
He was too funny for sure.
