Got a call from a co-worker yesterday. He said he was talking with the bigwigs that were there the past two days. They told him what was going on involving me was none of his business. but also that I would be getting my job back.

The guy over me screwed me tuesday a week ago then blamed me for the mistake. I got sent home which includes fighting for my job.

I'm not 100% sure what's going on at this point? Cause no one has bothered to call me and tell me. And I'm not suppose to know about the conversation that went on yesterday morning.

So?????????????

 

Gotta LOVE corporate america. Make changes and affect livlihoods, but don't tell the person it involves. My employer is restructuring the cottages ( I work at a boarding school), but no administration is telling the worker bees...the people that it involves. lol. Good Luck, RJ and keep us updated.

RJ, that blows how you're co-worker screwed you over like that.
At first I thought it simply said something about the guy's character. Not willing to take responsibility for his actions. But it also looks like the actions of someone who is desperate to save his own butt. It's not fair that he put you into that situation. Especially in this economy.

You can't control the bad things people say about you. But you can control whether or not they're true. For example, if someone says you're a boozer and a womanizer, when in reality you've lead a fairly sober life and were a decent and honest family man, then they're going to have a hard time getting people to listen to them.
