The VIN # doesn't have anything to do with the production number. I tried. My production # is 544 (out of 2883). The last 6 digits don't have 544 anywhere in it. I tried to find a pattern also.

Nothing personal against you, but I (like a lot of people) would rather not post my VIN.

Default it can be figured out

ok if your number is 544...and you know your vin...last 6 numbers only....

then according to gm...they say .i know my vin....you just add or subtract to find the missing number......

so its like 544 is to 395111.....if mine were 395115,,,my number would be

548 right.......all the vins would be like this...they should start with the 395 in the last six numbers.........

PM sent to ya.

It would be a big help to many if you were able to find a pattern. Many have tried and failed. Myself included.

I think the standard production count was based on the last 6 digits, starting at 100001.

So if you take your last six, and subtract 100001 you get your cars production number for your model year. No idea how this ties into the Limited Editions though.
