A MotorTrend test showed 0-60 at 5.1 second and 1/4 mile time of 13.7 for the Mustang V6.
The Monte is estimated at 0-60 in 6 seconds with a 1/4 mile time of 14.3.
The sound of the V8 is definitely what I would miss the most, but I'm pretty sure I'd get over it quick. There are a lot of companies making axle back exhausts for the V6 Mustang and sound clips can be found on YouTube. A lot of people have said that this is one of the best sounding V6 engines they've ever heard.

Exactly. A hearty v6 will be appreciated by other car guys, but the females you want to impress expect a v8 in a sports car. A Cadillac however, is a 'nuff said situation. Also you can fit more blond, 20 year old aerobics instructors in the CTS.
