My Dad's Malibu LTZ 3.6 ltr with 6 speed shift paddles runs out pretty good
& gets decent mileage when you can keep your foot out of it!

Thanks `Mark 4 your posts, and about your dad's LTZ
I did not know that it had a 3.6L, but I learn something new everyday on the MCF : )

A 3.6-liter V6 is available for the Malibu LT and LTZ, and bumps output to 252 hp and 251 lb-ft of torque. A six-speed automatic is again standard. Fuel economy is estimated at 17/26/20 mpg. Our test of a V6-equipped Malibu resulted in a 0-60-mph sprint in just 6.7 seconds, making it one of the quicker V6 sedans in its class.

I'd take a CTS (terrible name tho - I have a rule against cars without actual names), or a V6 Camaro. But Ford is the only company who has spent some time and money making the V6 cool. So with a cap on the V6, I'd probably take the Mustang.

It got 48.5 MPG - the first car to make good fuel mileage cool

If im not mistaken, CTS= Cadillac Touring Sedan/Sport.

Not a great name, but better than Catera!

Makes sense, but hardly original. Its barely passible as a name, but I'll take it. Honestly, 'Space has convinced me that the CTS-V Wagon is my dream car. So the name has to pass. Any speculation on what the "V" is an acronym for?

Any version of the CTS-V is a dream car. The 'V' doesn't stand for anything. It is more a representation of what happens to the ladies legs when they see it.
