All of the rain and storms have moved out, now just cool and dry. Anxiously awaiting the bowl game announcements to see where my next road trip will take me. May even put the SS on the road for this one!... maybe......

Good morning guys. Rain has stopped here too and it's very warm this morning, already in the 50s.

Looking forward to winter vacation - I'll have December 21 to January 2 off.

Sad to hear about the wildfires in Eastern Tennessee and Great Smoky Mountains. A mandatory evacuation of Gatlinburg was issued overnight as wildfire threatens towns of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Crazy that my fiance and I were JUST THERE a month ago!

Your post made me think of the trip my wife and I took for a football game a few years ago at Western Kentucky University. While in Bowling Green, we took the opportunity to tour the National Corvette Museum. About 90 days later, the sinkhole hit.......... That was a weird feeling....

I love going to Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge. Been there too many times to count. It's sad.
I met Thomas Kinkade (the painter) one time down at a little studio he had down there.

Good afternoon MCF. It is sad to see the wildfires. Both of my older kids are Wildland Firefighters. They have been on some pretty bad fires. I am praying for rain and minimal destruction.

I finally got the shake fixed on the SS. I thought I had a bad tire. Got them checked and balanced, still had a shimmy @60+mph when braking, no shimmy below 55mph. I replaced the left side rotor (showed more brake dust after a long trip) and all front brake shoes. She's smooth as new now.

Hopefully I get new tires after or for Christmas.

What tires do y'all run?
