Hi `Keane,
Sorry again 2 read about your work & life problems
I've learned that the more that you have in life means the more that
you have to take care of & worry about. + the cost
Having 3 cars is expensive to maintain/insure/license/etc.
Maybe you bit `off more then you can handle ?
Hopefully we learn as we travel this journey
called `life

I know that I had to sell my Monte to pay for college & life.
I don't have many material possessions, but my bills are paid.
I'm still saving for another ride
I've learned that I want to own my next ride & not have my ride
own me...It's not fun having a ride that you love, but don't have
the $'s to mod or take a road trip. Vehicles can be very expensive 4-Sure
====================================
Work is work & if you work for someone else, they set the rules.
You either follow their rules, or you leave or get fired.
If you are a good/reliable employee (?) they will want to keep you, &
if you are not, they will let you `go.
If you are not happy with your job ?, I'd keep doing your best, but
use your free time to seek other employment.
Until then, I would keep doing the best that you can `do.
Leave on a positive note. Future employer's check your past
employment & references are very important 4-real.

=======================================
Maybe being Home alone will give you the oppurtunity
to think about your future & revise your plan or make a new plan
on how to get to where you want to `be.

You have to be the driver of your life to get to where you
want to `be 4-Sure...No one but you can `do that.

Wish you the best Keep a positive attitude & keep working
honest & hard. Giving `up to get is never easy, but `if you
want to get (?), always do the very best that you can

GOOD LUCK

What are you doing ? Where R.U. ?
Are you getting another ride ?
Please tell Keane how you `do it ?
How many vehicles do you have now ?
How many projects ?
Tell him how hard you have worked to get everything
that you have You sure know how to give `up to get
You sure have a lot 4 your age
I wish I had your abilities/talent to do the super work
that you `do...
---------------
p.s. Thanks again 4 consistantly starting our MCF `Day
4-Sure

All for you Seattle Mike!
Thanks Devin...I think. It hasn't been too bad in my neck of the woods. We had a brief shower yesterday afternoon and it rained overnight but for the most part it has just been overcast and dry during the day. Of course, now that I just said that it will probably pour like a cow pissin' on a flat rock all day. Good ol' Murphy...

Edit: Wazzup 'Space? Good to see you online...you get a furlough?

Good morning MCF'ers.....Keane, reading about your job troubles makes me remember why it's nice to be retired. However, to get to this point I had to work a lot of hours for a lot of people who weren't always the best bosses. But it got me to this point, where I can work a few hours taking care of other people's kids and then go home to a quiet house.

The big light in the sky finally came back out (I think it's the sun) so I'm going to polish the Monte and take some new pictures. Have a great day!

Hi Seattle `Mike,
No furlough , just a small break @ work It's good 2 see you online & I miss the time that I've had in my past to be active on the MCF. Life & work keeps getting in the way of having `fun

Like I've posted to `Keane, I've been giving `up to get & giving `up to keep...It seems that nothing good in this life (or my life) is E.Z.

I'm just happy 2 `be & I'm doing my best to extract the best from everyday I'm given... (Somedays are better & easier then others).

Wish you & member's a Safe/Fun/Happy `Day!!!
It's time 4 me 2 return to work & follow the rules of the day..
Peace/Out

p.s. Hi `Angie & hi 2 Rick when he checks in

Working from home today and finishing laundry and a few other things. Last full day at home before my ninth Mexico "tour" starts tomorrow. Fun times... *sarcasm*. I can say it's a great experience but I'm about ready to have my normal life and schedule back anytime now.

Hope everyone has a good day.
Hey Matt! How much is gas in Mexico ?

Good Morning . 1st Keane i hope your reading this. When i got out of the Navy. I got a job at a tool & Die place. I was the lowest guy there. So I had the dirty jobs. The worsts hours and one MEAN *** boss! Did that job for 4 yrs. Yeah things got better after a couple of yrs. But then a better op came to me. I got a job at General Motors My pay increased almost double. I was on day shift. working from 8 am till 4 pm 5 days a week! Great huh ? No so fast. A month later I was bumped to afternoons. Cause he had more time then I did. So hear I am work from 4 to midnight Being the newest clown on the block. YUP I got the job No one else wanted. Came home every night smelling like a Skunk. . I can't quit this job.Theres no other place that pays like they did. plus the benfits. So I had to hang in there. taking what they had to dish out. months later I got bumped again. By another guy with more time then I had. But this time I was back on days . Tehn got transfered to over nights for a month. GOD I hated that shift. But it was a lot more $$ and less stress. I stayed on over nights the next 27 yrs . Keane By the time I got to retirement. I had guys begging for my job . I had a better job then my last 3 bosses had! So life isn't a bed of Rose's for sure. But you have to hang in there till something else comes up. Hell i worked for a BIG Co for 4 hrs and walked out once. At 1st I was the QUIET guy and just did what I was told. No argueing Just did the job. Got some respect and moved on up. Look at it this way. You have a JOB. A lot of guys oiut there DON"T ! Where would you be with out it ? THINGS will turn around for you. I have my fingers crossed for you. No one can tell you what to do. Only you can do that. But think about any move you want to make alot ! Almost any job is better then NONE ! Your friend. Rick

It's about 15 Pesos/Liter in Hermosillo, so that's basically $4.50/gallon US. Cost of living in Hermosillo is high compared to other areas of Mexico. I've also noticed they don't display the price/liter on the station sign out front.
