Around here $7K will only buy a beat up high mileage Monte. Most of them in decent shape go for around $9K or better. The DE and JG editions go for $10K or better if you can find them in decent shape.

I don't think I would do the even trade. I can't own 2 Monte Carlos, I wouldn't know what to do!!
