Thanks for your words & your funny story (Enjoyed)...

I just had my 2nd operation on my ankle & had another pin put in & I have to go back for something called ligament reconstruction + something else. Now, I'm strapped in bed in some type of traction device...(It really sucks 4-Sure), but I'm still happy 2 `be & can't wait to be able to skateboard, surf & just do the happy dance (LOL)...

I just started taking drugs & they knock me out...I'm not good with drugs & I am spaced `out enough without them.

I remember when you had to go through your operation +. I hope that you are all better & don't have any more problems.

I know to many senior citizens that would give all their wealth to be able to live without pain(s)... I do have a high tolerance for pain, but I have a very low tolerance for drugs. (I catch a buzz on just one beer) > LOL...& when I tried illegal smoke in my early teens , I was buzzed on one hit (LOL)...Cheap Drunk 4-Sure >

Wish everyone a great `eve & a good meal to enjoy. I'm getting spoiled with a lot of company + a lot bringing some super foods...I hope that I can gain some weight on this recovery/respite

You mentioned being in traction...
Is your leg suspended/waited hanging in the air?
Or is your leg pretty much flat on the bed with a small weight attached?
I can certainly/tryto understand what the pain must be like..OUCH!

Like you.. I also was informed I have a high tolerance for pain...
But I cant even sleep laying on my back... let alone have something tugging on an injured leg... I imagine that gets really uncomfortable in a very short period of time! Makes sense to have the pain killers.
I truly feel for you...

Since your a man of the world and seas...Maybe this will cheer you up and know were all there with you in spirit!

 

Space, umm if i couldn't only keep one, i think i'd keep the monte. I'd hate to have to use it every day, but that would probably be the one to keep.
