Apparently theres a huge power outage in the city of Detroit this morning...
Lots of major artery buildings without power (No generators) Schools, county and state buildings ... Unfortunately the downtown casinos have power..(They have back up generators) So that means the mrs is stuck at work... (She works at 1 of the casinos)
I thought I was feeling better flu wise..However I have a Migraine from He dbl hockey stick..
That I have had since yesterday... Grrrrr.. Light, noise (Even the TV) is killing my brain the pounding is just sooo over bearing.
I wish this on no one... I have a plan to hit up the chiropractor in hopes he can fix it for me...
Have a Great Day EV1!

Hi `Ken,
Thanks for your words + all your active posts & contributions to the MCF. I will have to check out that group later.
Ken, just keep doing the best that you can `do on your `job & in your life. I hope your investigation is successful & that it can resolve the problem(s) > Good Luck

Hi Mod `David,
Thanks again for your concerns & wishes. I can relate somewhat to what you are enduring & have endured. My pains & injury is minor compared to what you have experienced & endured on your life's journey.
Yes, pain does let us know that we are alive & when the pain ceases or becomes less severe (?) it's a reminder to enjoy life without any pains. I wish you a life without any pains or a lot less pain. Take good care of yourself `OK.

Good afternoon everyone. Another day of work for me. Welcome back Space. Nice to see you on the forum. The temperature is starting to go back down. I wish it would make up its mind instead of being warm then cold, then warm then cold. All it does is gets me sick.

Hi `Zach,
Great to see you staying active on the MCF...It's great to read that you will be getting a break from school soon

Life is like a roller coaster with all it's `ups & down's & so is Mother Nature...No one has found a way to control her...
We just have to do our best to make the best of each day that we are given & really enjoy the good days when they return 4-Sure...
Wish you & member's sunshine & happiness

Space, work is the same really, hopefully sooner or later i can escape the place. And thanks on the buick and train pics. The lacrosse super is rather rare with only 2277 made in 2008 and only 800 something in black. Nice to have an LS4 now.
Checking in for the afternoon. Good to see everyone is still here.
Space, don't get into a rush on catching up, there will be plenty of time for that after the operation (along with some hilarious doped up posts) takes me back to my surgery. I told my wife 5 times that they shaved my arm before my surgery and when I woke up, I had a tickle on my nose, tried to scratch it with the cast on my numb arm, weighing over 10 lbs, when it smacked me in the face instead of scratching the itch.
David, I know the feels about having a migraine and never wish them upon anyone. My wife doesn't quite understand the torment that comes with it and has a tendency to turn on every light in the house not understanding why that makes me irritable.

FEATURE
The Quickest Sedans of 2008: $30,000 to $40,000
Base price: $32,100
0-to-60-mph time: 5.7 sec
Quarter-mile time: 14.2 @ 101 mph
It’s been 20 years since the words “Buick” and “sport” have inhabited the same sentence and not referred to Tiger Woods. Buick performance purists, all 17 Members Only–jacketed habituĂ©s, whose passion was birthed of turbocharged fury, might pooh-pooh the LaCrosse Super. It’s no GNX, and 20 years later, it is almost a second slower to 60 mph. It is, however, unexpectedly competent and quite reasonably priced. Our Jared Gall called it “easily the best-driving Buick in recent history” and said if not for the omnipresent torque steer, it might drive better than many Lexuses, a claim he made while scanning the heavens for swine on the wing.
The LaCrosse Super wasn’t designed to be a sports sedan, with all the comparisons that invites, and is instead billed as a “luxury touring sedan.” It does, after all, share its chassis and engine with Chevrolet’s Monte Carlo SSand Impala SS, as well as the Pontiac Grand Prix GXP, and front-wheel drive does none of these cars any favors. It is interesting to note that the Buick stops in less distance, holds onto the skidpad longer, and is quicker and faster than any of its platform-mates, with shocking high-speed stability, especially considering its roots and the badge on its nose.
The four-holer Super is stuffed with the 5.3-liter LS4 V-8 mated to a could-have-another-cog-or-three four-speed automatic transmission. The 300 horsepower and the 323 pound-feet of torque will whisk upsold octogenarians to 60 mph in 5.7 seconds, if the torque steer at launch doesn’t snap their calcium-depleted wrists. The quickest Buick in years is also the fastest Buick in history, promising prompt tee-time arrival with a 156-mph top speed.
