Thank you teacher Todd for starting our daily blog. I just finished reading yesterdays blog. I was too busy with the girls and chores to get on the blog yesterday. Susan had to go to school early and deal with some administration BS and she didn't feel good.
I hope all the night shifters have a good night and the day timers have a good morning. Talk later

Nasa’s Kepler space telescope finds 'new Earth'
A planet called Kepler 22b is more like Earth than any yet discovered and has been identified as a potential future home for mankind. We think that's where the kid from `Space is from

Kepler 22b contains both land and water and has temperatures which average around 72 degrees (22 Celsius).
It also contains the right atmosphere to potentially support life.
It is, however, 600 light years from Earth.
The planet, where a year lasts 290 days, was first spotted two years ago.
However, Nasa scientists using the agency’s Kepler space telescope have now concluded that it offers the best hope yet for future human habitation outside the Solar System.

Mornin guys. Home early from work. Had company via text message for most of my shift lol. Made a new friend via one of the other forums I'm on and she was up till about my last break lol. It's rare that anyone ever chats with me even by lunch break.
Mornin' all. It's another cold and foggy morning around here with a temp of 29° and 96% humidity. Christmas is creeping up on us fast. For a few years now I've made it a practice to pick things up throughout the year and stash them so the majority of the shopping is done before the Holiday season rolls around. I do most of my shopping online. No fuss, no stress, no pushing and shoving crowds.
I know the feeling 'Space. Sometimes you will bend over backwards to help someone - whether it be in real life or online - and not get as much as a simple 'Thank You' for your efforts. I would be less than honest if I said it doesn't bother me at times, because sometimes it does. The way I try to look at it though is the significance, value and importance of your actions is the 'reward' of self satisfaction knowing that you made the effort.
Speaking of making an effort, this is the time of year that food banks and shelters are in need of donations the most. Believe it or not, a single can of food, a warm blanket/clothing/jacket or a toy can make a world of difference is someone's life. I know we are all struggling with the economy the way it is, but there are many out there that are worse off. Any donations you can make to your local food bank or shelter will be greatly appreciated by someone. If you have a little extra time volunteer your services. The significance, value and importance of your actions will become evident when you see the thankful relief in the eyes of a parent knowing they will have a decent meal on the table for their family, or the sparkle and joy in a child's eye when they receive a new toy.
Hope everyone makes a good one of it today.
