Good news for Chevy Camaro..the new 07 model will be featured in the upcoming movie Transformers which all 80's babies like me know and love. Funny thing is, the character is gonna be "Bumblebee" which we've all known to be a yellow VW bug. Thank God for that change...The Camaro looks incredible too...Here's the down side, Ford has also slipped a darn Mustang in the movie..they've got a Saleen Mustang as the character "Barricade"....booooooo! funny how they pitted ford versus chevy while pitting autobot versus decepticon, and police car versus street rod...wow..anyway, to the pics...

I just hope the movie isn't a total disappointment. I'm an 80's baby too and I have high hopes for it. Cars look friggin sweet, though!!!!!!!! So...the Saleen cop car is a Deceptacon? Why would a police car be a Deceptacon?

 

it's supposed to be a wolf in sheep's clothing i guess. that's the only reason i can see to make a decepticon a cop car. on the side it doesn't say "to protect and serve"...its som'n like "to _____ and enslave", som'n i saw in the production pics. and i've also seen one of the cars dance, but i'm not sure if they're using it for the movie or not.

Looks like the 'stang says "to punish and enslave." That's interesting. On the Camaro, maybe they should change the name to Rumblebee (probably copyrighted by Dodge, though) to account for the upgraded hardware?

 

wouldn't it be cool if chevy and ford both made special edition transformers cars. man now i feel like going and watching the origional transformers movie. i know i have it around here somewhere.
