Had my truck up to 90.
The Z28 up to 120.
Had an 88 Corsica that I did Park in. The speedo stops at 85, the needle was pointing at the P in the PRNDL. Guestimated it was between 90 & 95
The Monte I got up to, if my GPS is to be believed 1692! I'm guessing the Garmin had a brain fart! I know I've hit right around 90 in it too.

And in none of those cases did I get the feeling that any of them wanted to slow down, I'm just too old to wanna play that game anymore.

On a flat interstate at 2:30 A.M I pushed it to 118, felt like the car wouldn't budge anymore and the RPM was already at a constant 5,500, so I backed off. I've read that the 3800 engine is supposed to have a maximum speed of 137MPH N/A with no modifications, maybe I have a speed limiter that I don't know about? Anyways, it's a good thing 118 is all it'd let me do, I have H rated tires, good up to 130mph.

First time over a 100 was a 113 in an '89 Dodge Shadow Turbo. I probably could've pushed it faster, but I was entering my county and the turbo was acting up.

Sadly, I never tried it on '92 Shadow that had a nice '6 in it.

Fastest since that, was in the wife's Vue, when we took it up to a 120, and it felt like it wanted to go faster. But we were entering a county where the cops actually pay attention and it was beginning to rain, so we backed it down.

Nowadays, I normally don't do 10 over, though I have pushed it closer to 20 over in some areas, depending on road and traffic conditions. My main goal is not to insert myself into another object at a high rate of speed or arrange a nice chat with not-so-friendly Officer Friendly.
