This is a fun old thread. I think the fastest i have went in the monte was about 115.
74 Buick century 120 and still pulling but the fastest I ever went was in my buddies 69 Chevelle with dual 4 bbl carbs and a high rise intake. I think we were at about 140, still pulling and running out of road fast.

Hit the limiter in the Monte a few times which I believe is about 125-126 mph.
In my first vehicle, 98 Explorer Sport, barely got it to 100 lol.
One of the few images from my Ninja when I first got it and had a camera mounted to the tank. Removed it after a few days because I personally though it was stupid and never thought anything would happen that would need to be caught on film lol. Got to 172 for a second and backed off. It was a thrill but also a terrible idea. Only did it once but I had it over a hundred on multiple occasions.

168 in the Monte, toasted the tranny fluid, melted down the bearings in the cooling fans so they locked up, made the grease spit out of seal between the cv boots and the joint... yeah, i dont recommend it, but it was awesome.
