We all know it happens...you burn a bowl and suddenly your short term memory takes a holiday. Simple things begin to slip your mind. Where did I leave my lighter? Where are my keys? What were we just talking about? You'd never think that someone would forget something important...like sitting your child's car seat (with the child in it) on top of the car, then getting into the car and driving away...

Bad deal for the Kid..

 

Dad was reading that in the newspaper when i came home this morning. Rediculous isn't it, kids these days are just screwed. They have horrible parents, kids are killing people now. Im hoping when my generation has some kids that they're alot better...

meh, **** happens. the kids fine and the mom is in jail. pretty dumb of her though. your kid is pretty important and should NEVER be put on top of your car. glad shes in jail and i hope she gets her child taken from her and kept there for a while. kids and cars dont mesh too well.

 

Well at least she could have a roof mounted kennel, like Romney.....Jheesh, might have been a cool ride on a HOT Arizona night.

 

It must have been some powerful `Pot, but I think that smoking pot is no excuse for her neglect. She needs some serious Help & not medical marihuana 4-Sure...

I hope they take away her baby & her driver's license 4-Sure..It's a very sad/disturbing event

I heard about this on the radio. I tried watching the video linked in the first post. But it told me the content is currently unavailable. Maybe because I'm in Canada.

I know people make mistakes and all. But leaving your newborn on the roof of your car? That's something you do with your coffee, or the take-out food you just bought. Not your kid. Drugs make you do some messed up things. If this doesn't open up people's eyes about the danger of abusing drugs, I don't know what will.

I think the mother going to jail and losing custody of her kid is the best thing for the child. The kid shouldn't have to grow up in a home with a drug abusing parent.

I really hope that this woman does her time and gets her life together, so she can be a better parent.
