I ended up with ticketsfor the race Sunday so about 6:30 Sunday morning my son, his girlfriend and I are headed north. It's only about a 2 hour drive but I want to miss the bulk of the traffic. I have friends up there camping and we'll hang out with them after the race until the traffic lets up some.

Got the Monte all shined up for the trip in the morning. Now if the morons would only quit driving like idiots and stirring up the dust on the gravel road in front of us, maybe I can creep out of here clean. I have about 300' of gravel to get down and it's really dusty. Tried to get hubby to go water it down for me, he just looked at me like I was nuts .

He was supposed to went deer hunting this weekend but didn't get to go, so he'll have towatch for us on tv and take deer in for me in the shop. Oh well, he's going pheasant hunting in Kansas in a couple of weekswithout me, so I'll try not to feel too bad for him. Plus he goes to the coast two or three times to my one, hmm,I don't feel so bad now, hehe.

Dang, I won't be able to sleep tonight. This will be my third time to go, I'm sooo excited.
