Hi All, checking in, no blog this morning when i tried to. I am in capable of it so had to wait. Been out looking at houses for my next rental. Made an offer but we are the third one. A decision will be made Monday. We went over the asking price by $105. This is a very nice house with a 2 car garage, 2 BD and fireplace, full basement and newer metal roof. Asking price four years ago was $77,500, now in the foreclosed society, $19,900. Needs minor work. Realtor who is a friend suggested not to go under asking price. This is only day 2 on the market. Investors are buying these cheaper houses up. keeping my fingers crossed. Heres a quick pic, Needs power-washed and a little trim paint.
Nice jerry, for that price a little tlc is nothing. Hope you pick it up and can make a buck. How is your other rental house doing?
Keane, the other house s doing great. Nice responsible renters and always pay on time. No regrets so far. This is my retirement plan. Hope it works out. Would like to have about 10-15 houses within the next 7 years and probably sell them all and hoping the market has turned around considerably.
