Good evening everyone, still ridiculously busy at work getting ramped up for the pending accreditation visit, but at least the light at the end of the tunnel is getting closer.

West Coast Mike, if/when the salesmen/ladies call you back, as they will, they always do. Make sure you have prices on similar cars from other dealers, no matter how far away, cause really who cares if you have to drive a couple hours to save a couple thousand on the price of the car, in my opinion a nice drive is worth the savings. By doing this it will show them that you are not afraid to shop elsewhere and that you have been doing your research. The last time I dealt with a dealer the price of the car was $21 grand and change, I said no way, then found a similar car for $17 grand on line that was about an hour and a half away from my home, I told the dealer this and his first response was to ask the salespersons name that I was speaking with so I said "Susan" (I hadn't actually spoken with anyone but he didn't know that ) and he called me back an hour later matching their price. To which I replied, hey that is their advertising price and I know they will come down from that and he again lowered his price, this time it took til the next day but he even had the manager come over and speak with me praising how good the deal was on the car, in the end I decided to purchase 2 cars from a different dealer as he just gave me a great deal from the start and I didn't have to negotiate as the prices were actually real world prices from the start, but it goes to show you that they will deal in the end as they have to keep selling cars. Best of luck in your search

Thanks 'Tyler for your words & that you enjoy part of the Bum History + U think we are cool
The rich city surfer's thought we were 'weird & different. We didn't get in2 the latest fades or music. We built most of our own boards & wore Walmart or thrift store type cloths. In our younger years we fought a lot & later made friends with many.
They spend more time talking about what they are getting next & not seeming to enjoy what they already had. They also seem to party to escape life, instead of partying to celebrate life.
It really seemed that $>money was their GOD or all they wanted.

The bums were raised that they would have 2 give `up to get, instead of just taking from 'life & expecting that life owes them.
Yes, we are different, but I think we are more happy & have more fun. WoW, I'm motor-typing again (lol) Just tell'in `it like it 'is

I just watched the World News (Most of the time I just read it on the web)...The World News is depressing 4>Sure...I think Mother Nature is pizzed & is causing fires, floods & devastations because she is mad at the way that humans are treating her planet ? > What do you think ? Where's our weather Man `DEVIN ? Why is Mother Nature always hurting planet earth ?

Now, that's a deep subject (?) Does anyone deep sea dive ?
OK, I filled in some space on the MCF > If you are still reading it's your turn to post what's happening in your 'life (?)
What are you doing to add activity to our forum ? I think it's your turn to post > Yes>>>>You....Everyone will just sit here & wait to read what falls outa your head....Hurry, I got 2 go the bathroom >

p.s. Hi `Amy, what is your average MPG's on your Mustang ?
Thanks > One of the guys @ work is getting one. Wish you a great eve & thanks for staying active & having to read all the above >

OK > Your Turn.
p.s.s. I wonder how many times the contestants in May's MOTM are checking the pool ? If you haven't voted > Please 'do..Thanks

Peace/Out from Bum'Mike
**Hi `Ken > Just read your post after I submitted mine. I hope U R feeling better ? Thanks 4 check'in >In

Beach bum Mike, there are centuries old native American tales about bad storms, droughts, floods, etc. I personally think this is mother nature's way of keeping some kind of balance with all the energy in the atmosphere. The 50s and 60s actually saw many more F4 and F5 tornadoes than we've seen in the last 30 years. That's just from my research of national weather service records going back that far.

Historical evidence shows the middle ages were much Warner than they are now, warm enough that they had vineyards in England, which would be unheard of now.

That's my theory from my years of study. Others may think differently though.

Evenin' folks!

That was a long day for me - I just got home from work. Well, sort of. Our store salesman retired today, so we went out after work for a few drinks. They don't make guys like our great old salesman Mal and he will be missed and I really wanted him to know how much I appreciated his many years of service to the automotive parts industry.

Thanks for explaining the PolkaRoo thing to everyone SpaceRider. To be honest, I didn't quite realize it was a Canadian only thing, but I suspected it. The point of the comparison was that while one co-host of the show was missing (usually the male), it was the only time PolkaRoo appeared on the show. There was never the shows 2 host and the PolkaRoo. When the second host reappeared, they always "Oh, I missed him again?" And the same appears with SpaceRider and 'Space - one only shows up when the other is gone. When was the last time we found SpaceRider and 'Space posting on the forum at the same time? It was also news to me the show was cancelled, but it stands out vividly in my childhood memories.

I have heard the story of the Beach Bums before and I love it! It is just a very positive story and it convinces me that there is a better way to find and raise people/ family. Both SpaceRider and 'Space are of the most well adjusted, socially functional people I have ever met (tho we have never met). The story reminds me of how useful seniors can be and what a great idea homeschooling can be if executed well.
