Had a neighbor get pi**ed off at me last night cuz I started it to take off ramps and put back in garage. Wasn't a good deal, especially when he mentioned "watch my stuff" as he walked off. His name calling towards my "peice of sh** v6 monte carlo" that is far too loud really ticked me off. First time I've ever had my car called anything close to that.. I understand it was quite loud but I lost track of time and really had no option.. I suppose I could have put it in neutral and pushed it off the ramps and pushed it into the garage but it was late and I was in a hurry so I guess that makes me an a**hole... Lots of bad words I'm sorry, but anyways that's enough of my rant for the day.[/quote]Hey Don't feel bad. Stuff happens. I learned from my Dad. Never sh** in your own neighborhood. I didn't understand what he meant by that till I was a little older. I had loud pipes on my Harley. Went over to see a friend late one night or maybe it was early . But he told me to shut it off and push it down the street before I started back up. He told me on a later date. That was his world. He has to live there with all his neighbors. Don't come over and make him stand out like a sore thumb! Not his words. They were stronger words! Being we were two young Bikers. I understood yrs later what he meant. Even now when I start up my Chevelle with the headers open. I go next door and to the girl across the street and ask if the kids are sleeping & if its OK. I have the best neighbors now. They think I'm COOL cause I care about stuff like that. If I'm out late with the Chevelle. I coast down the street at an idle headers closed. Now if its a saturday afternoon or Sunday! Hey its all fair game. I don't GUN it going down the street But the headers are a bit open and they all give me a when I go by. I guess yr neighbor was pi**ed off maybe he has kids that were slepping. WE ALL say things we don't really mean when were pi**ed off. Give it a few days and go over and tell them your sorry and it won't happen again. Man that GOES along way with living in peace with yr neighbors. Hell even when I had Bikers over for a few beers. They never said a thing to me. But the guys all knew not to bring heat where I live. It will work out in the end. Good Luck

Mike have fun on your trip to florida. Im gettin in much later than planned. Left school after just an hour of class to go to a friends place, had a couple drinks and shot the bull for a while and here i am. Earlier i was thinking about my monte and if i had the money to get it repainted what i would do. I think i'd get all the dents and dings knocked out and have it repainted in the dark blue that came on 5th gens. I think it would look really good. If i really had some money i'd convert it to a Z34 and swap a new engine in but i dont think i'd get that far Maybe just a re paint some day
