Got the headlight replaced. That was a complete PITA and I gotta figure out how to better align the darn thing.

Jerry, I get about 15 in town with my Camaro but I also drive it pretty easy. I take advantage of the 3.73 rear gear to shift pretty early when I'm putting around town.

Things are lining up for a MAJOR severe weather outbreak here tomorrow afternoon. Thankfully I'm not working tomorrow night so I'll be up and tracking it and providing support to those out spotting. If this had taken place a week from tomorrow I'd have the truck back and be able to go chasing myself. But I don't so I'll have to make do.

Evening all - went out for dinner, now I'm just doing some things for work.

But I've really got to question what the hell is going on with kids in schools today (I didn't think this would merit a new thread)? I work with local schools through my company (think of it as a traveling IT guy for several local schools - is our company).

So I'm on the alert now system for these schools so I know if they're closed, etc so I'm getting alerts for all these schools the past 3 days. After the shooting in Chardon, the next day 1 school received a bomb threat and another was placed in lock down for a "disorderly" student in the building. (These 2 schools are about 15-20 minutes from my house). A middle school in a neighboring town was also shut down Tuesday for a bomb threat.

Yesterday a student was arrested for threatening to shoot up his high school (same one that received the bomb threat the day before). Today my main school that I work in (also in my hometown) had a graduated student lurking on the grounds today with a concealed knife.

WHAT THE HELL?!

Dang that's messed up. We had someone pull a gun on somebody on MTSU's campus about a year ago. Armed robbery (since they know we can't legally carry on campus) is also common in the area around campus. I hate going on campus cause I can't legally carry the means to protect myself, even though I spend a year at a time (when I'm in a combat zone) with a loaded weapon at all times, and the fact that I've done all the necessary training (and then some) that the State of Tennessee deems necessary (plus the background checks) to be issued a handgun carry permit. I've seen the worst of the worst that the world has to offer and it makes me VERY uncomfortable to be unarmed.

Anyway, I'm off to work. I'll talk to y'all later.
