Here goes nothing. I'm cleaned up and shaven and it's time to put the blues on.

 

What are you putting on the monkey suit for?

 

Same color, they made the door too dark when they repainted it after the previous owner got in an accident, so he's correcting it. The door is darker, then to the side of the door, by the top it's got a purple hint to it. So he's repainting the whole area and blending it to the front bumper/hood.

Hey all. Home from work. Haven't been on since Tuesday. Busy around here. Went to the local track for racing last night. All figure 8's. Had fun and they had fireworks there. No time to catch up on what I missed....

 

afternoon all, got up and opened my shade that faces the driveway and notice the motorhome was gone Then i see its on the front lawn with parents car and im like Ask parents whats going on and dad tells me we're getting a new driveway Much needed as our old one is crumbling as it was done rather badly So a new driveway and a new parking area on the lawn. No more mud pit parking

Tonight we have 2 new people starting ont he night crew, one being a women. Shall be interesting to say the least as we are expecting a huge 2 truck load tonight

 

A funeral. A member of our military small group from church went to be with the Lord on Monday, and the memorial service was today. He was a Vietnam vet. Those of us that still have our uniforms (and can still fit in them) wore them at the request of his wife. Me and one other are still in, and the others that wore them are retired. One of our members is a photographer and brought her camera and got a picture of our whole small group to give to the widow. This was the first time I'd worn them (got issued them only a couple months ago) and it turned out really really well. One of those rare occasions when I look in the mirror and thought "wow I look really good today."

Anyway, it appears that Brooke would like to see me before I leave for Fort Benning tomorrow so I just changed out of the blues and now I gotta figure out where her and her kids want to eat. Y'all have a good evening.

Mike if you ever find a 3900 Monte engine cover buy it and then we can work out something cool to paint on it for me......
