Sold the wife's 71 Impala. Have to deliver it to Richmond here they had the Monte Nats. About an hour away. Guy looked at it Monday and finally decided he wanted it. He can't get here now to pick it up so I am delivering it. Hopefully not a set up. It would usually be opposite this if it was, me bringing cash to look at something and get robbed. I feel ok about it, I know he has the cash. He was counting it when he was here. Had the beast for 12 years and put 27K on it. Not bad. Still only has 109K. Check back later. Now if I can sell the GTO, I am on my way to a super nice 4th Gen....

I would do a google's earth search of his address & see what the area looks like & if you have his name ? > you can confirm that it's his address...It's sad that we have to be so careful when dealing with strangers in today's world, but it's better to be safe > then SORRY 4-Sure...

When I sold the 98, I also had to do a type of delivery. What I did instead was drive the Monte to the guy, and then brought him to look over the 98 Camaro. Then when he okay'd the deal, we drove to the title place and did all of the paperwork, then I handed him the keys and said have fun getting home in your new car

Good morning: . Well day 2 of painting the garage. Got 3/4 of it done yesterday. Looking good too. All white again with nothing on the walls. ( YET ) . Also yesterday my office desk drawer fell off into my lap. So I took it out to the garage and put contact cement all around the underside of it. Guess I had to much stuff inside the drawer . No not really. The bottom just came loose. It won't happen again that's for sure! So today if it doesn't rain. I'll cut the lawn and finish the garage painting . Then sit on my old *** for the rest of the night. Wife & I are hooded on a couple of TV programs. One is the Bridge and the others cop shows. Major Crimes is the best one. Then there's this team one NICE looking girl. That used to be married to John Stamos. And her partner that used to be on Major crimes. But this fall our other programs start up. Sons of Anarchy, Justified @ great programs. Ok time for my coffee. Just took out the garbage can's it is trash day. Ok talk to you all later if I get a chance. Most of you will have a good day. You others try harder to do that .

 

Yep, her car is all perfect again.

I'm still waiting to hear that the shop even started the car...
