Good morning guys.
17 degrees this morning and we're getting some pretty good lake effect snow showers falling even on the east side of Michigan. Winter Storm Caly has been named which will move through our area Sunday/Monday and as of now we look to get 3-6" of snow out of that.

Lunchtime! Heavier lake effect bands coming across into SE Michigan - we have about 1/2" of snow on the ground right now. More off and on into tomorrow. Hudsonville, MI recorded a snowfall rate of 2" in one hour earlier this morning.
There was also a fatal 40+ vehicle pileup on I-96 in Livingston County, MI earlier this morning, due to sudden whiteout conditions.
