I would drive but at around 1700 miles i dont quite have the time. I do have 2 other trips i'd like to make that are closer and will be road trips. Just finished up some christmas shopping and wrapping of presents. Now to finish a little homework and relax until work tonight. Have a good afternoon all.

 

Hey everyone, just got done paying my tuition for the spring semester. And I am heading home now to do something. The cable for turned off, so it looks like I will be finding a book to read...LOL. have a good day everyone.

 

while browsing a list of unwanted degrees, i see the one im in school for shows up. Nice, i've always had a worry im gonna end up with a degree that'll be useless

 

Good Afternoon all. Didn't get on this morning as usual. I went in a little earlier so I could get off earlier.
Keane, any degree is not useless, it builds confidence in yourself..May not get you anywhere, but only time will tell. If you came up against someone equally qualified and you had a degree but they didn't, you win... At the least it shows you are capable of sticking with something and dedication. I was unable to find a job using mine that I spent over 25K for and still in the same job I was trying to escape. I could have gotten jobs but it meant a 50% cut in pay and I am not going there.
Getting ready to watch Battleship movie, rented it Sunday but haven't watched it yet. Not due back till tomorrow.

 

Good afternoon everyone Busy day around the Rick house the last couple of days & nights. Well we got up around 6 am cause I had a Doctor's app to get e checked out before the trip and re new some of my meds. Also did a blood test to see if everything is working right. So far so Good. So about an hr before were suppose to leave my buddy brings over the New battery for the Monte. We sit and B/S for a while. And he asks if I want help getting that battery in the car. I said yeah if you have the time. John is an animal bigger & stronger then i'am. He takes the battery and hold it sideways and I force the fuse block over as far as I can and then some. JOHN shoves that battey in there with a BIG push! Damn man wish you were here the other day to help. Time was running out so we both had to leave. I had a 20 mile ride to my Doctor's and he had to pick up something at our hardware store and head back 40 miles. So after the Doc's we had lunch. Going with out food for 12 hrs isn't cool! So we had lunch as soon as I got out. Then hit a 1/2 doz stores. Got back home around 2 pm. it was so nice outthat i left the garage door open and tackled the battery install. Put everything back together and crossed my fingers. Turn the key and deep sounding muffflers lite up my face. YEAH BABY!! The cleaned up my tools and wiped off any finger prints on her. Also took her car to get the battery checked out before our trip. Checked out fine so that something else to cross off the list. Now I;m going to sit on my big *** and have a cold one! The rest of the night is going to be stress less . OK its that time. I want to thank all of you that tried to help. THANK YOU
