Good Morning. 26 and everything is frosted over. I hate that. Gotta warm everything up. Now that it is suppose to be in the 50's Saturday, I will probably have to work. Not many good paving days left this season before layoff. Have a great day.

Mornin' all. Well so far the forecast has been correct and the rain has held off. It's been gray and overcast though with intermittent chilly winds blowing. Currently it's 34° with 100% humidity. There are fog banks all around and frost on the car windows.

When the CTS-V first came out I reserved judgement on it, but have to admit it is growing on me. I was reading an article about the 2011 model a couple weeks ago and was impressed by its performance. They put it side by side with a Shelby GT500 and it gave that Shelby a run for the money. The CTS-V was actually slightly quicker than the Shelby coming out of the hole and edged out the Shelby by .1 second in the 1/4 mile. The Shelby ran a 12.4 @119.4mph and the CTS-V ran a 12.3 @ 118.4mph. Not too shabby.

Hope everyone makes a good one of it today.

Mornin guys. Just got home from work. Had to buy a new battery last night. Didn't have time to install it before work and so I was out there changing it, in the dark, in 23* weather so I could get home from work and not need a jump. took me about 20 minutes or so. Would have taken less than that but it took forever to get that little piece that holds the battery in place out of there. Still a pain in the butt.

Looked at the old battery after I pulled it and it was made in 2010. It was one of the ones that Advance sells. I replaced it with a Duralast (I've had great luck with those over the years) but having to buy a battery probably wipes out my Christmas plans. I may be spending Christmas alone this year unless something changes.

Btw Ashley, when you read this, I saw your reply after I got home this morning. At one point we had about 300 head of cattle and 5 or 6 horses. I think my grandparents still have a horse or two and about 20 head of cattle (they sold most of them). It's a shame Michigan is so far away. I'd love a chance to start riding again. I really miss it.
