Good morning MCF!! 
Going to have a busy day today. Have to go see the doctor then it is back home to work on the cars then racing tonight.
I was chatting with turbo monte last night and told him that I had finally done the full McGuiar's treatment on half if the hood if my racecar (Claybar, compound, polish, wax). OMG!!!! If you have never done this claybar treatment on your car, I suggest you drop what you are doing and go get some and try it. The deep shine you get after this full treatment can only be seen and felt to be believed!!!! WOW. The pic below is what I did. The drivers side has the full treatment!! I am impressed!!

Last Saturday, I used a DA polisher for the first time. I bought a bunch of stuff from Autogeek and went nuts on the wife's Trailblazer. I washed, clayed, compounded, polished, and waxed, and a final wipe down with detail spray. Here's my results.....The last one is after doing just half of the hood, so you can see the difference from start to finish...

Chifan, a couple years ago I bought a Porter Cable DA Polisher and three grades of pads, etc., also from Autogeek, and that stuff does an amazing job. More of a deep shine than you can achieve by hand. I found it cuts down on the time slightly however it's less brutal to apply than by hand. I really need to go at the car again since I didn't last year.
