Mornin guys. Still waiting on blood work to come back. Hope y'all are well. Thanks for the well wishes and prayers. It's definitely been tough having to dig for the energy to make it through each day. Hopefully the doctors figure out what's going on quickly so that we can do what I need to fix it.

A little background though. My mom is type 2 diabetic (I think I've mentioned this a few times) so a few years ago I changed up my diet to where I eat smaller portions scattered more throughout the day, hoping to delay me becoming diabetic. It had the added benefit of kicking my metabolism up, and while I was never really overweight, I dropped a bunch of body fat and have been in even better shape since then. I just have to be very careful to eat as soon as I wake up, otherwise my blood sugar will drop considerably. I keep snacks in my lunch box that's at my desk just in case.

Anyway, sorry for the long winded post. Hope y'all have a good one.

Hopeing today finds you well. Have you ever checked your sugar when your feeling low on energy? Does it happen after meals? it should read between 90 and 120... anything below 90.. means you need proteins... anything above 120 isn't good..... drinking water should help to lower and stabilize your blood sugar levels... also try drinking a minimum of 4 bottles of water each day. (throughout the day) will help flush your system of harmful fat,sugars etc... My wife as a type 1 diabetic does this and its really helped her not only help her sugar levels..But she feels much better through out each day.

I have bad news about my Monte. I side swiped a big truck yesterday, or the truck side swiped me. Thankfully I bounced off and no one was hurt...except for my car.

The lug nuts of the big truck wheel messed up my drivers door, fender and front wheel pretty bad.

I am looking for a place to buy the replacement wheel, preferably used. It is a 2001 MC SS. Where I live it is a long drive to a pull a part yard. The few local junkyards charge individuals almost new prices. Any suggestions?

 

Afternoon all, got the montes oil changed, found out i'll need a front sway bar before long and front brakes, but i was aware of the brakes, they're quite warped.

David, I do drink plenty of water. Not much other than that, some coffee when I wake up (just black coffee, nothing added), and a Gatorade during the work day.

Btw I may end up selling on a Z71. Found an extended cab (a little more towing capacity than the crew cab) that still has some decent options.
