good morning everyone!
Last night my friend dave wanted to show me the corvette he drives around before he looses the privilege of driving such cars...(its actually his dads car.) First time in a corvette! Just the feeling alone was awesome...the sound of a v8, the rumble in the seat.. His monte is going to be put on the road today! He'll be loosing that privilege of driving multiple cars.. So now when I go on local cruises I won't be the only 6th gen, woo!
He let me test drive his monte around the block. All I gotta say is what a CRAZY difference between the 02 and the 04. The dashboard controls feel cheap! The shifter shifts so quick! The console feels different, and can't forget how SLOW it is! Tried to give it a little gas and all I gotta say is wow its got no power...amazing what 40 hp can do!
Then I let him drive my car around the parkinglot at work. His smile was bigger than a kid in a candy store...

Yesterday started out ok, Then I took the Silverado to go put gas in it...
A strange noise developed under the hood. Turns out the alternator was takeing a dump!
Since it has 119,000 miles on it...I wasn't surprised.
So naturally I had it replaced. Since I am no longer able to do repairs,
I paid the neighbor to do it..(He's a certified mechanic) Today, Once he gets home from work,(My neighbor) I'm going to have him check my AC on the Monte.
Ever since, Tint city punctured and replaced the Condenser on the Monte, It doesn't seem to get as cold as it once did.
Ive taken it back to them twice. With no resolve.
Theres also a proposal out in Michigan to change the speed limit on local highways to 75 mph.. and in the some northern rural areas they wanna change it to 80 mph! It was pretty cool to see in some of the states in the USA they speed limits are up to 75... So, I guess you could say Michigan is a bit behind the times?
It rained here this morning...With more expected later in the day...
Kinda puts a dampner on my Wanting to throw some wax on the Monte.
I'm hopeing I feel well enough to attend the show in Lansing with Tad and Matt on Saturday... The way I'm feeling today, (My back and hips are still very sore) I wouldn't make it if we were going today...

Morning all, Dave people might as well raise the speed limits. People already do 70-80 on the highway as it is. In Texas there is a spot with a speed limit of 85, people must do 100 through there
