Thanks for the kind words, Monte07! I retired about a year ago after 22 years active duty Army. Saw the best and worst of humankind, sometimes in the same day. Had lots of folks come up and say 'Thanks' when seeing us in uniform the last few years. Sure beats getting spit on and stoned like happened to me overseas. Could have made lots more money doing other things, but I wouldn't trade those 22 years for anything. Great experience. Did / saw more things, helped more people by the time I was 30 than most people would in 2 or 3 lifetimes. The troops I served with were great. Hooah!
