You live and learn if it have the potential to be AMAZING!!! and yeah if you don't like it re-do it or make some adjustments.

Actually I'd start with just the silver pieces and then see how you like it go from there

I say go for it. Just do a couple pieces at first and see how it looks. I imagine it'll look nice
