The season is around May and then again in September : (
They are attracted to the carbon monoxide and heat of the highways and swam in groups...It's a big pain 4-Sure...
Now that I'm driving the company truck and get blasted, I am just thankful that I'm not driving a nice car or a super Monte

It's really a full time job to keep a nice car nice in 2day's world...U just got 2 love U're Ride 2 keep it Nice 4-Sure...

Oh, they don't bite, they just Bug `ya a lot...Depending on the weather they last a week or two each season...It's it's super hot they last longer ( `if it raining & cool they fade/die until next season....That's all, I got to get ready 4 work : )

Hey Space; you can say what they are doing. It's just like the song. They're doin the Wild Thang only they don't ask for fifty bucks. Lol
Hi TazM from the sighting of the first one to the last is six weeks give or take a few days. So six wEeks in the spring and another six weeks in the fall. When they land on you it feels the same as a house fly. There is no mess unless you swat it. They are not fast so killing these things is easy.

The love bugs are starting to swarm now. We will have this for about ten more days and then they will start to disappear except for tons of little black love bug carcus' being blown around.
