Likely root causes was what I've talked about in the engine/transmission section a couple of times... you can't just start throwing stuff into a car and expect it all to work. Every piece of that car, from the rearend to the radiator, each has to be able to take the horsepower. You can't just put 1000 horsepower in an engine and drop it back in. That's probably not a high performance clutch... or maybe I missed something....

Gotta agree with Duane's comment. Many people know that you can't just put out massive amounts of power from the engine without having the rest of the setup to handle all that power.

This obviously isn't the first time someone did burnouts in that car. Root cause of the problem? Too many idiots doing burnouts on a setup not strong enough to take the abuse.
