Themed Bi-monthly Photo Contest "Military History"
This is a great theme for a photo contest, it's just one that might take some more prep & planning than usual.
Okay, I've got one! Here's mine:

Taken at the Strategic Air & Space Museum southwest of Omaha. They've got these three big Air Force missiles set up right by the entrance. The one with the red parts on it is an Atlas ICBM, the first one for the U.S., going back to the late Fifties. (Don't worry, I don't think they're armed and dangerous anymore!
)

to bad that you couldn't get one close to the Thunder jet (Thud) east of the exit on I-80 that would be a cool backdrop also.
My military history, the different hats, helmets, camouflage patterns and boots worn by me. Equipment evolution one could say...

And I have my pop up friend with me too...

Now that is BA, rare find there. A regular PT109 eh? McHale where are you and Gruber at? (LOL, know JFK's was the 109)
That pic was taken about 7 miles from my home at the American Vet lounge on highway 60. I walked right in there and introduced myself and told them I wanted a pic of the boat and my car. The owner introduced himself to me and was very nice. He said no problem. I asked if he could tell me about the boat and he said it isn't an actual PT boat but a replica. Still really cool though. I drive by it all the time and when this theme came up I instantly knew I would use this boat for the pic.
