I was out last nite at one of my favorite places to eat, and an elderly man had on a WW2 veterans hat. He sat next to a gentleman who had on a Korean war vets hat.

As i walked by, i thanked them for their service to this great country.

They both perked up and smiled, and i knew they appreciated my comment.

I also thought of my step dad yesterday as he was a 3 war veteran and retired a full bird colonel.

I appreciate all their efforts, sacrifices and dedication.

I was posting about veterans day, but i don't want any one slighted that serves this great country.

If any one felt slighted, please accept my apology.

I want to say thank you to those folks too.

i understand completely...unfortunately, there are far too many people in this country who have no respect for the sacrifices made by our servicemen.
