That really sucks man! Sorry to hear about the job loss. But as others have said, you just have to look at it like this: There is nothing you can do to change the situation, so learn from it, move on, and find something BETTER! Good Luck on your hunt for a new job.

Wayne its not uncommon out here for people to have cops escort "former" employees out.

Damn man, sorry to hear that. I hope things work out for you. I try to keep myself sane by reminding myself that "god wouldn't bring you to it if he couldn't bring you through it."

Sorry to hear of the job loss, full time vrs part time sometimes is a numbers game with benni's and so forth. sales or services position require the numbers to support the employees but you can't do either without the customer comming in and right now its tuff depending on your function in the market. I service industry,ag(farm equiptment) and road construction which is thriving but the numbers are down with us as well. I was suprized about the police situation myself. adding you to my list of unemployed prayer list..good luck finding temp to keep some cash aflote.

New one for me too. I know if it's in a building and that building has their own security personnel that they can be used, but never the actual cops.

I have seen it numerous times when the company is worried that the employ will make a scene, the state their is a question of theft when the employee leaves, or the manager just wants to be a jerk. I worked for a major retail electronics store that has blue shirts, and my manger there did it to 22 employees in 2 years. Seems like abuse of the police time to me.

Not to judge you John I believe I'd be glad it was only the police and not the national gaurd. I do wish you luck with all these challenges. Jarhead
