Not to mention the dent it left in my wallet.
What a sport... you gave into the peer pressure. lol. Good life story though.

Peer pressure my behind. I am an open book. I actually dated him for QUITE a while until he turned into a dweebtard. I dumped him. LOL. I can't believe I left a dent in the hood of my car!! Just like how I have a dent in my ground effects on my '00 ls because of a driveway that was way too steep and unevenly paved. DOH! It was raining, my car kinda "coasted" (more like SLID) down the driveway and CRUNCH!

As my bumper hit the road I was thinking "omg that's gonna leave a big mark"!

That's rough... I'd start thinking about making rumble strips across the driveway, lol.

ded... sad thing was, is that when THAT dent happened, I was on a date too. Something tells me I need to quit this dating crap. I got stood up on a date TONIGHT and got STRANDED in parking lot of a movie theater until my best friend and her little brother could come help me get my monte started turns out it WAS the starter so I sent her brother up to autozone to buy me a new starter and install it right there in the parking lot... He's a saint I swear, but OMG!!! That's like the third time THIS YEAR for something major to happen to my car while I'm on a date!

it sounds like you're going to have to stop dating and become a hermite, or a nun!

Monty... SOMETHING! Right? I'm not much for being a nun but a hermit is starting to sound RATHER appealing lately!!! BTW love your monte... I've always loved that galaxy silver color!

Robyn, you can fix the car problems by dating the old fashioned way and making the guy come pick you up and buy your dinner as well! But then, that takes away your position of power of ownign the car (he can't pull you over in your car and tell you to put out or get out). I remember just before I disappeared into thin air you were beginning to talk about your problems with guys... well, we are jerks, but you know that

My worst Monte moment doesn't hold a match to you guys. I've had the car for two and a half years. The a/c went out about 2 months into owning it on a week where it got to around 95* every day and it went out on Monday afternoon... and it was Saturday before I could fix it. I called the Chevy stealership and they wanted $1200 to put a new a/c compressor in that car and I said, "That's okay, I just became a mechanic." Good thing, now I'm restoring cars! so $250 for a compressor and a dryer adn I was back on the road!

cowboy... men give me problems. other women i've noticed, have good luck with men. lol. when i go on a "blind" date i don't need anybody knowing where i live. LOL. And anyway, when they see me pulling in in my monte, I'm usually driving a better vehicle then they are. Intimidation. Although, she IS a headturner i'm sure she would garner me some action if I let her.... but she's probably sick of my BS!

Or you can go "Nichole Smith" and marry a rich old guy, with money coming out his ears, and about to die! Like my sisters say:"If you can be born into money, marry it". Of course I'm kidding, but if given a chance who wouldn't, with someone that didn't look like the monster from the black lagoon, marry into money!!!!

The car looks a bit different now than in the pic, I just haven't post them yet. Thanks for the props!
