sure wish i lived in a town this pretty....
the gulf station closed down about 7 years ago, and the general store closed mabe 3 years ago. in the last pic with the monte in it you can see the general store off in the backround

lol they used to when i was VERY little, haha. they sold EVERYTHING in there, it used to be awsome. they had fresh produce, a butcher counter, deli, canned & dry goods, "beverages" of ALL varietys
, basic automotive stuff ( they had a selection of plugs, filters, batterys, wires... everything you would need for a tune up) they had pizza & an ice cream store in the building right next to it which is actually attached. the rear of the general store had farm feed & supplys, toys, sewing & crafting stuff, carheart work cloths & some womens cloths, TV's, small appliences & large appliences, plumbing & carpentry stuff, tools, the second floor housed an antique store.... it was TRULY a "general" store that sold a lil bit of EVERYTHING! and it was still run by the same family it had been run by scince the building was built and carried all that stuff up untill about
'01, they sold it off, it was empty and then a convenince store that went out shortly. its been empty scince...
