had a blast with other montes at show today

 

Good evening MCF'ers - back from the Chevy Car Show, tons of great cars (I'll attach pix here), THREE Monte's this time - a 70, 71 and an 86. I talked for a while to the 86 and gave him a MCF info sheet (I was wearing our shirt). I missed Jerry, he must have already left but I bet heads turned when he drove up in that black SS.

 

Nice pictures Angie. I can see one thing. You must still be going to parking school. Its not paying off yet is it

 

Good evening all! It was a very good day - weather was beautiful, the Bears won and I won 2nd place with Precious in the car show I was at - class was 90's + stock and it was participant voting (which I totally hate because people around here don't give a crap about a newer V6 FWD car). I was up against 4 Mustang Shelby Cobras (all of which should have been in the Mustang class but you are going to run into that baloney at every car show around here). A Plymouth Prowler beat me for 1st - it was very nice but the guy didn't have his hood opened and if you were at any judged show around here you would have gotten a big fat 0 for that category. End of rant - I'm just happy that I won at a participant judged show - finding judged shows around here are getting very hard.

Evening all. Just watching the sunday night game. Go Steelers. The Lions looked like they were gonna blow it today but they pulled it off.

 

Looking forward to reading it in the Morning.

 

Long beautyful day. Listened to the Lions and watched the Vikings win. Now watching the Steelers and Payton playing. While getting ready for my 1st Sunday night at work. Didn't get much of a nap before work with all the games on TV today. I will be messed up in the morning. Most likely coffee & to bed 1st thing. . Ok I'll check in sometime in the A.M.

 

Had a horrific time trying to parallel park today.
Only 3 months in driving the monte and still not used to its size. (significantly bigger than my old 93 regal) As my fiancee guided me through, I actually gained an audience!
Got to drive it down port(Port Jefferson, the Long Island, NY ferry port that goes to Connecticut) It was SLAMMED with people today..

Also must of been monte day. Spotted a 6th gen intimidator TWICE, two silver 6th gens and 2 older montes.
Lots of cruising around
